Where do you travel to?

I am based in Hambledon, Hampshire and usually work within a 25 mile radius.  I am happy to travel to West Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire, Dorset and further - please contact me for a personalised quote.

How much does wedding or party hire cost?

The starting cost for up to 100 guests/ice creams is £349.  POPS start from £499 for 100 guests - please contact me for a personal quote.

How many hours do you serve ice cream for?

My standard private hire package is for 2 hours.  I am happy to stay longer if you require - please contact me for a personal quote.

When Should I Book?

As soon as possible, I do get booked up early.  All you need to hold the date is £50 non refundable booking fee.  You can finalise flavour choices, guest numbers and exact timings nearer your big day.

When does the Ice Cream Tricycle work best at a Wedding?

It is your big day so the decision is ultimately yours.  I have found that after the ceremony whilst you are having your photos done works well as it keeps your guests busy.  It is also perfect for providing desserts or canapes.  

 

Will there be long queues and mess?

No!  As they are individual tubs, your guests won't have to spend long queueing and no need to worry about getting ice cream all down the posh frocks either (this does not apply to children though!!)

 

Do you need electricity?

The tricycles are self sufficient and will stay cold all day long so no need for electricity.  

 

What happens to the rubbish?

I always bring a bin with me for the empty ice cream tubs.  The tubs are recyclable.

Do you cycle the tricycle?

The tricycles are vintage and very heavy so they tend to be more for show!  You are welcome to try at your own risk!

How many Ice Creams do you provide?

I usually provide one 110ml individual tub of award winning Meadow Cottage Ice cream per person.

Can I Take Photographs

You are welcome and encouraged to take photos of and with the tricycle - please don't forget to mention me on Twitter, Instagram etc!

What happens if it rains?

The great British weather can never be guaranteed but I will do my best to get under cover (if available) or I can bring along a white Gazebo.

Is there a limit on flavours I can choose?

No, although the tubs are packaged in quantities of ten.  You can guarantee that the flavour you choose the least of, is the one all your guests want!!  Think there is a law that says something about that...

What Parking facilities will you need?

I do cheat and the tricycles do come on a trailer so I will need ample space to park the car and trailer please.

 

How big are the tricycles?

The tricycles are 1.1m wide and 2.1m long.  They can usually fit through double doors.  Due to the weight, I cannot get them up any stairs!!  If in any doubt, please contact me and I can speak to your venue provider.

Are you insured?

Yes!  I have £5 million in public liability insurance, although hopefully will never need it.
